Read the story “Pigling Bland” in Learning to Read: Favorite Fairy Tales. Describe what Pigling Bland did to escape from the farmer. How did Pigling Bland help Pig-Wig? Talk about what they were thankful for. Write about what you can do to show appreciation to others. (Skillset: compare, comprehend, creativity, oral, reading/writing practice.)
