Small gestures can really make a big difference in someone’s life. These “random acts of kindness” can even bless the person who is showing kindness to others. Here are a few ideas on how to show kindness to others –
- Compliment someone
- Let a person cut in front of you in line
- Put coins in an expired parking meter
- Be helpful
- Write a nice note
- Fill up someone’s water bottle
- Sing a song for someone
- Make a card and deliver it
- Draw a flower picture or give real flowers to someone
- Safely pick up garbage and throw it away
- Smile at someone who looks sad
- Forgive someone
- Help at an animal shelter
- Talk to someone who is lonely

Read this story to someone. Write and say the word “kindness” five times so you can pronounce and spell it correctly. Put these words in alphabetical order: kindness, Snow White, dwarfs, attempt, apple, beauty, random. Use these words in a sentence. Describe how the dwarfs showed kindness to Snow White. List three ways how you can be kind to others. Be kind to someone today. (Skills: identify, comprehend, apply, organize, creative, affective, analyze, synthesize.)
