Sketch & color an illustration. Theme: Ideas. Read the story “New Ideas” in Learning to Read: American History Vol. 1. Put the following words in alphabetical order and use them in a sentence: taxes, government, president, voting, rights. List new ideas found in this story. Think of the ideas you heard each candidate discuss. List one example and fact each candidate stated. List two questions and the responses you heard from each candidate in the presidential debate. Discuss what you think about the ideas you heard during the debate. Give a recap of what you heard. Write down the name of the person you want to become the next president. Put your ballot in a box.
