Do we look like other family members? Are we young, old, thin, average, tall, in-between, stocky, big-boned, small-boned, red hair, brown hair, blond hair, curly hair, straight hair, blue eyes, green eyes, brown eyes or something else? Who are we and where did we come from? Read the story “Jesus” in Learning to Read: New Testament Stories to learn more about Jesus and his family.

You can go to the site called, familysearch.org to create a free log-in and begin the search for your ancestors. You can build your family tree.

Everyone likes to know about their family members. Have fun searching!

Educators/Homeschoolers/Parents – Sketch/color an illustration. Put these words in alphabetical order and use in a sentence: family, Jesus, baby, boy, born, mother, father, family. List the names of the parents of Jesus. Write down something about your parents or family members. With a parent’s help, look at your family tree. (Skillset: identify, comprehend, apply, creative)
