Celebrate Be a Kid Day! Why? Kids know how to have FUN!!!! Here are a few suggestions –

  • Eat your favorite ice cream
  • Find an ice cream truck
  • Have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, macaroni and cheese, fruit snacks, or cotton candy
  • Play video games
  • Go to Chuck E. Cheese

  • Go swimming, go on a Slip N Slide, or have a Super Soaker or water balloon fight
  • Color or draw a picture
  • Watch your favorite movie or tv show
  • Blow bubbles
  • Go bowling
  • Play
  • Read a fairy tale and animal book
  • Sing a song or listen to music

Homeschoolers/Parents/Educators: Sketch/color an illustration. Theme: Play time. Read the story “Tom Kitten in Learning to Read: Fairy Tale Adventures (Kindle/Paperback/Audiobook). Describe what the kittens did when they played outside.  Finish this sentence: I am going to…  (Skills: identify, imagination, creativity)
