There are countless ongoing stories of rescues, and neighbors helping neighbors in this dire circumstance. Many people are donating time and money to churches such as Samaritan Purse, Catholic Charities, Baptist Churches, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Let us all be thankful for –
- the food on our plates today
- the bed we can sleep in
- the clean water we can drink
- the blankets we wrap ourselves in
- the family and friends we can talk to
- the homes we can live in
- the blessings of God and our time here on earth
