Take the Halloween Challenge! Put a check mark next to every challenge you successfully completed. Let the adventure begin!

  • Write down a new word for every letter of the word “Halloween” – H, a, l, l, o, w, e, e, n
  • Spell the word “Halloween” correctly out loud
  • Spell the word “Halloween” correctly backwards – you can write this one on paper
  • Shout out the word “Halloween” thirty-one (31) times
  • Jump up and down one time (1) for each letter of the word “Halloween”
  • Run to a corner of the room and write a three sentence story about your favorite Halloween memory
  • Close your eyes while you listen to the adventures of “Tom Thumb” in Learning to Read: Favorite Fairy Tales and pretend you are flying with him

After you successfully complete each challenge, pat yourself on the back with your right hand and eat your favorite treat while you watch a spooky Halloween movie and dance the night away! (Skills: identify, creative, comprehend, apply, imagination)
