Keep on trying

Share now

Did you ever feel like stopping? Or not trying anymore? Does it seem almost impossible to get that: blessing, change, opportunity, or chance that you desire? You have prayed and worked so diligently. Well, it’s not impossible. When we think it is impossible then we can wait and see the hand of God. Why? God can…

  • work miracles
  • bless us in our time of need
  • send angels to help, guide, and direct our paths
  • give us the opportunity to build our character
  • help us become stronger than those that have it easy

  • help us follow Jesus Christ
  • help us gain empathy for others
  • help us develop new skills
  • build a great place for the faithful in the Kingdom of God

Homeschoolers/Educators/Parents: sketch/color an illustration and label it. Theme: keep on trying. Listen to the audiobook story “The Man Who Walked” in Learning to Read: New Testament Stories . Write and say the word “faithful” five times so you can pronounce and spell it correctly. Put these words in alphabetical order: waves, sink, hand, faith, trying, stronger, opportunity, empathy.  Use each word in a sentence. List three ways God can help us when we are trying to do something that is hard to do. Summarize the story of the man who walked (Luke 5:18-25). Say a prayer and ask God to help you. Thank God for your many blessings. (Skills: identify, comprehend, apply, organize, creative, affective, analyze, synthesize.)
