Happy Birthday to Thomas Edison who was born on February 11, 1847 (Milan, Ohio) and died on October 18th, 1931. He was an American inventor and great businessman. We owe our thanks to him for developing many devices in fields such as electric power generation, mass communication, sound recording, and motion pictures. Some of his more well-known inventions include: the vote recorder, universal stock ticker, incandescent light bulb, phonograph, and camera.
